PSG Set to Extend Hakimi’s Contract with Significant Pay Raise

PSG should extend the contract of its Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi and increase his salary.
PSG would be ready to keep Achraf Hakimi. The Parisian club should soon officially announce the extension of the right-back’s contract, which is due to expire in June 2026 until June 2029, according to Mundo Deportivo, specifying that his salary should increase from 10 million euros net per season, to nearly 14 million euros net per year.
With this salary increase, the Moroccan international will become one of the best-paid full-backs in the world. According to the Spanish sports daily, the Moroccan captain is a reference throughout the Arab world. He has scored two goals in 17 league matches this season. He also scored a goal in the six Champions League matches of PSG.
Last October, Luis Enrique, coach of PSG, had praised Hakimi’s game. He is "more complete, especially on the defensive level. [...] Hakimi is an elite player with vast experience and serves as a reference for his teammates," he said.
