PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Acquires Spanish Club Where His Career Began

The 26-year-old Moroccan right-back of PSG, Achraf Hakimi, is now the owner of a Spanish club.
Achraf Hakimi is following in the footsteps of his friend Kylian Mbappé, who acquired a majority stake in the French club Stade Malherbe Caen. The Moroccan right-back has bought the Spanish club Ciudad de Getafe, where he made his debut before joining Real Madrid’s academy. According to the Spanish press, the agent of the Moroccan international, Alejandro Camaño, revealed that the purchase had been discreetly finalized. "He wanted to give back to the club where it all began," said Camaño. Hakimi’s ambition is to develop young talents.
On the field, Hakimi is having a brilliant season. He has scored four goals and provided 8 assists, while ensuring remarkable defensive solidity on his right flank. These efforts have earned him a nice reward. The vice-captain of PSG has been elected the best African player of the 2024-2025 season in Ligue 1, winning the prestigious Marc-Vivien Foé Award, presented by RFI and France 24.
