PSG Secures Rising Star Ilyes Housni with Professional Contract Through 2026

Given his talent and potential, PSG has offered a first professional contract until 2026 to the Franco-Moroccan player Ilyes Housni who will be 18 years old on May 14.
The RMC Sport "Scouting" podcast presents the player Ilyes Housni. After passing through many clubs in the Île-de-France region such as Bonneuil, Créteil, Joinville, Paris FC, Aubervilliers, this young Franco-Moroccan arrived at the age of 12 at the pre-training of Paris Saint-Germain, following seductive detections. "He was comfortable from his first touch of the ball, had a fluid and fast relationship with the ball, finishing qualities, movements and calls, managed to go unnoticed, triggered at the right timing," recalls Thomas Leyssales, Head of Pre-Training and U14 Educator at PSG.
According to him, the young Housni will go far in his career. "He is ready for Ligue 2 without forcing it, can claim a loan in Ligue 1 and apply to enter the rotation at PSG," he adds. His qualities make him the hope of PSG. Mathieu Bodmer, sports director of Le Havre, leader of Ligue 2, describes his profile as "technical, lively, his qualities between the lines, as a finisher, and his coolness in the box". Seduced, PSG offers the 17-year-old player a first professional contract until 2026.
In addition to his qualities, Housni "must better manage his frustration, know how to be patient, because he is a dynamic player who can have lapses of concentration," warns Thomas Leyssales. Mathieu Bodmer agrees: "He could work on his concentration in so-called easier matches," says the former PSG player.
As for the choice of his sporting nationality, the Franco-Moroccan player prefers to focus on his career at PSG. "It’s too early to talk about the choice of the national team," assures his uncle Saïd Housni. And to temper: "For now, his goal is to focus on PSG and have as much playing time as possible."
