PSG’s Hakimi Reveals Top Champions League Attackers Who Challenge His Speed

Elected several times as one of the fastest players in the world, Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has often faced tough opponents, especially in the Champions League.
Known for his speed, Achraf Hakimi did not establish himself in the field without difficulties. He has sometimes found himself facing the tenacity of certain attackers, as was the case with Kingsley Coman during the match against Bayern Munich. The Moroccan right-back admits that "some opponents in the Champions League pose enormous problems" for him.
In an interview with Prime Video, the player presented by the media as a formidable counter-attacker confided that one is often put to the test in his field of expertise and that he is not spared. Several times, according to him, opponents have destabilized him, whether in the national team or in the club.
"The strongest center forward I faced was Kylian Mbappé during the France-Morocco match in the 2022 Qatar World Cup semi-final. I know his potential and I knew how to behave on the pitch. Then there’s also Coman Kingsley. I’ve played against him a lot and it was difficult," the player trained at Real Madrid said.
Achraf Hakimi also confides that there is "Vinicius Junior. He’s a player who dribbles a lot, you have to pay more attention to him than to other players. They are very fast but also very technical players. They want to do one-on-one all the time. They are the players I pay the most attention to. Do I have to stay close to them? It depends on the players, but they are players who are fast. If they let the ball pass, they will run. So I have to stay very focused against players of this level."
It should be noted that the Moroccan player was not aligned for the match that opposed PSG to Lille (4 to 3 for the Parisians) on Sunday at the Parc des Princes. A few days ago, coach Christophe Galtier had stated that he was out due to a hamstring injury.
