PSG Eyes Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech as Transfer Deadline Looms, Morocco Coach Weighs In

As the winter transfer window is coming to an end tonight at midnight, reports suggest a possible signing of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech in search of a club to leave Stamford Bridge at PSG. Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team in which the Chelsea attacking midfielder shone during the World Cup, talks about it.
"I have no information about him other than what we read on social media or in the press. I don’t get involved in players’ decisions and especially I observe because it’s important that they make their own choice. The most important thing is that he finds a club where he can play and continue to play. It’s important for Hakim," reacted the coach of the Atlas Lions on the RMC set.
According to him, if PSG were to sign the Chelsea midfielder, it’s because the Parisian club could give him playing time, which the 29-year-old player (50 caps and 19 goals) lacks at Stamford Bridge. "At PSG, I think there is even more competition than at Chelsea. But well, maybe in rotation. If they bring him in, it’s because they still plan to give him playing time," added the guest of the After Foot, before highlighting the qualities of the former Ajax star.
"I think he’s a player who likes to have the ball at his feet, because he has an extraordinary left foot. I think he was out of sync because of the lack of playing time at Chelsea. But I’ve watched his last few games, the more he plays, the more his aim starts to come back. Even in a 4-3-3 I think he can play among the two number 8s or as a number 10. [...] Technically, it’s very high level on ball control."
The former player of AS Corbeil-Essonnes also believes that Ziyech could be of some use to the Parisian club. "In my mind, he can play in the three in midfield. I’ve already thought in the national team to maybe have him evolve later in midfield, because when he gets the ball he can make 30m or 40m passes with extraordinary precision. If there are calls for the ball, he can be like a quarterback. He has the volume of play, whereas that
