PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Among Top-Paid African Footballers in Europe

Moroccan international and PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi is among the nine best-paid African footballers in 2022.
With a weekly salary of £176,000 ($215,800), Achraf Hakimi is the sixth best-paid African footballer in Europe in 2022, according to the GiveMeSport website. The Atlas Lion outpaces Arsenal striker Nicolas Pepe (171,700$), Crystal Palace striker Wilfried Zaha (8th, 159,000$). Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita (147,000$) completes the top 9.
Senegalese international Sadio Mane, the new recruit of Bayern Munich, tops the ranking of the best-paid African players in Europe with a weekly salary of £250,000 (over $306,000). He is followed by Liverpool star Mohamed Salah whose weekly salary is £220,000 ($269,800), Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez (£200,000). Then come the Ghanaian internationals, Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey (4th, £200,000) and Al-Sadd SC star Andre Ayew (5th, £180,000).
