PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Faces Uncertain Future Amid Transfer Speculation

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender, Achraf Hakimi, could leave despite a contract running until June 2026, according to rumors reported by the sports press. The Moroccan international, recruited by the Parisian club in 2021, was praised for his performances under the jerseys of Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan, but his consistency is being questioned.
Rumors suggest that Hakimi would be dissatisfied with the current atmosphere in the Parisian locker room, while other non-sporting factors have also been mentioned, including accusations that have been made against him. However, his agent, Alejandro Camano, has refuted these rumors, stating that "Achraf is a PSG player with whom he still has a three-year contract." While acknowledging that Hakimi has maintained an attachment to Inter Milan, Camano insists that the player is tied to PSG.
As speculation about Hakimi’s future continues to circulate, PSG itself is engaged in a reorganization of its squad for the next season. The French capital club has already confirmed the departure of certain players, including Lionel Messi (Inter Miami) and Sergio Ramos, and others could follow. Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler is notably cited as one of the players that Paris could seek to sell.
Despite the climate of change, some key players like Marco Verratti have expressed their desire to stay. For Achraf Hakimi, the situation is less clear. According to some sources, PSG would not prevent the defender from leaving if he expressed this desire.
