PSA Halts Production at Morocco Plant Amid Coronavirus Spread

After suspending all its plants located in Europe, the French automaker PSA decided on Thursday, March 19, to shut down its Kenitra plant, due to the spread of the coronavirus.
According to a spokesman for the French manufacturer, the Kenitra plant will remain closed for two weeks. Renault had previously suspended production at its two plants in Casablanca and Tangier.
The Covid-19 pandemic is gradually gaining ground in Morocco. The official report shows 86 cases, including 3 deaths.
