PSA Group Sets New Record with $850 Million in Moroccan Auto Parts Purchases

With more than 850 million euros in purchases of its automotive components in Morocco last year, the PSA group has set a new record. Its turnover reached 74.731 billion euros, an increase of 1% compared to 2018.
The achievement of this performance is justified by the continuation of the group’s development strategy in the Middle East and Africa region, according to La Vie éco. In Morocco, more than 66 supplier sites supply the group’s plants, including 29 in Greenfield.
The PSA group does not intend to rest on its laurels. According to its Executive Vice President for the Middle East and Africa, Samir Cherfan, the PSA Group wants to make its Moroccan ecosystem a competitive sourcing base for its global industrial system. "We have high expectations of our partners in terms of quality, cost and on-time delivery," he said.
