Portuguese Man Arrested at Moroccan Port with Large Cache of Firearms Bound for Guinea-Bissau

A sexagenarian Portuguese has just been arrested at Tanger Med with an impressive quantity of firearms and ammunition. This operation was carried out following a routine search.
Lots of weapons had been hidden in this Portuguese’s vehicle (a truck) which, it seems, was heading to Guinea-Bissau.
Hespress writes: "According to consistent sources, the customs officers discovered in the truck of the Portuguese national 5 hunting rifles, 1131 live ammunition cartridges, and nearly 640 unauthorized blank cartridges, which the accused was about to transport to Guinea-Bissau."
However, we still don’t know what these weapons were intended for: Hunting or something else? Was he going to use them himself, sell them or deliver them? Many questions remain.
Hespress only specifies: "The defendant was brought before the judicial police for investigation according to the procedures in force." According to Goud, another media, this arrest was made on June 10 by Customs elements.
