Polish Lighting Giant LUG to Invest in Morocco’s Southern Provinces

The Polish giant of public lighting, LUG, is preparing to settle in Morocco. Its president, Ryszard Wtorkowski, received in audience this Friday, January 15 by Abderrahim Atmoun, the king’s ambassador to Poland, plans to sign a declaration of investment intent in the Southern Provinces of Morocco.
This large company is one of the main European manufacturers of professional lighting solutions. It specializes in the manufacture of infrastructure and industrial luminaires such as decorative lighting for the interior and exterior lighting of public utility buildings, sales spaces and architectural objects.
LUG is also active in the fields of intelligent lighting and smart cities, thanks to its ability to synergize the advantages of LED and IoT technologies. In doing so, it helps municipalities better meet the needs of their citizens and more effectively manage various aspects of city life.
With over 30 years of experience, LUG is present in Dubai, Paris and London. The multinational has also opened departments in Argentina and Brazil. This year, LUG has signed a contract to "light up" the capital of Warsaw, among other major cities. In Poland, it employs nearly 600 employees in its factories.
