Polisario Front Declares End to Ceasefire with Morocco over Western Sahara Dispute

The Polisario claims that its army has begun to respond with the required firmness to the military operation launched by Morocco in the buffer zone of Guerguerat.
"The war has begun. Morocco has liquidated the ceasefire," Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, "Foreign Minister" of the Sahrawi Republic proclaimed by the Polisario, told AFP. The Front says it holds the kingdom responsible for all the dangerous consequences of this attack on the security and stability of the region, as well as on the future of the 1991 ceasefire agreement.
In the face of the serious and unacceptable provocations to which the "Polisario" militias have indulged in the buffer zone of Guergarate in the Sahara, Morocco has decided to act, in compliance with its powers, by virtue of its duties and in full conformity with international legality, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad said in a statement.
