Polisario Front Claims Strikes on Moroccan Military Targets Near Smara

The Polisario denies having carried out an attack on the city of Smara, in the Moroccan Sahara, but admits to having bombed several sites in the area.
The "Sahrawi army" did not carry out any attack on the occupied city of Smara, but bombed Moroccan army bases in the city, the airport and ammunition depots on the outskirts of the city, said a statement published on Sunday by the Sahrawi Defense.
The note also reports attacks on several Moroccan bases in Mahbes and Farsia. "The SPLA has increased its military presence and continues to bombard enemy enclaves along the Moroccan military wall, causing and inflicting losses in the arsenal and ranks of the occupation army," the statement added.
