Pig’s Head and Anti-Muslim Graffiti Found at Spanish Mosque in Murcia

The officials of the Cabezo de Torres mosque in Murcia discovered xenophobic graffiti on the walls and a pig’s head placed at the entrance of the place of worship early this Wednesday morning.
"Stop invasion", "No to Islam" can be read on the walls of the mosque which was also desecrated by the perpetrators of these xenophobic acts. They threw the head of a pig with a knife stuck in it at the entrance of the place of worship, informs La Opinion de Murcia.
The act was denounced by the Islamic community Ibn Arabi and the Moroccan Association of Immigrant Workers (ATIM) on their Twitter accounts. Sabah Yacoubi, the president of the ATIM delegation in Murcia, condemned this "fascist and xenophobic attack against the Muslims of Murcia".
The mosque officials discovered these xenophobic tags when they opened the doors of the place of worship to hold the first prayer of the day. The police have already opened an investigation to try to find the perpetrators.
