Palestinian Ambassador Praises Morocco’s King for Unwavering Support Amid Gaza Crisis

Jamal Choubki, the Palestinian Ambassador to Morocco, expressed his gratitude to King Mohammed VI, who "never ceases to support the Palestinian cause."
"I would like to express my thanks to Morocco, the king, government and people, for their support to the Palestinian people and their firm condemnation of the Israeli aggression," the Palestinian diplomat told M24. According to him, Mohammed VI’s instructions for the dispatch of emergency humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip reinforce the resistance of the Palestinian people to the Israeli attacks.
Jamal Choubki called for the support of all - like Morocco, which is working through the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency to support "our families in the holy city in the fields of health, education and social affairs" - in this new period of stronger tensions between Israel and Palestine. He added that the Palestinian people, united in the face of this aggression, are counting on their Arab and Islamic depth and on the international community.
According to the Palestinian ambassador’s explanations, the Israelis attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, "without any respect for the sacred character of the place." He also recalled that several Palestinian families have been evicted from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem. "The Israeli occupier must understand that no force can prevent the Palestinian people from realizing their right to an independent state, with the city of Al-Quds as its capital," he said firmly.
This week, King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee, ordered the dispatch of emergency humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. This humanitarian aid consists of 40 tons of essential food products, emergency medical supplies and blankets.
