Morocco Sends 20 Tons of Aid to Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank

On the instructions of King Mohammed VI, two Royal Armed Forces (FAR) planes, carrying 20 tons of humanitarian aid, landed on Tuesday at the East Air Base airport in Cairo. It is intended for the Palestinian population in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee, is showing his support for the Palestinian people. This 20-ton humanitarian aid consists of essential food products, emergency medical supplies and blankets. It was received by the Moroccan ambassador to Egypt and permanent delegate of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Ahmed Tazi. According to him, it will be transported by road to Gaza via the Rafah border crossing as soon as possible.
This Royal Decision is part of the Kingdom’s continued support for the just Palestinian Cause and its permanent solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people. It should be recalled that Morocco had strongly condemned the violence perpetrated in the occupied Palestinian territories, the continuation of which only leads to widening the gap, strengthening resentments and further distancing the chances of peace in the region.
