ONCF Summer 2026 MRE Discounts Morocco Travel

ONCF is rolling out its special "Summer 2026" plan from June 22 to September 13. Facing record-breaking crowds, the company is mobilizing 237 daily trains and launching customized fare reductions for Moroccans living abroad.

To facilitate the diaspora’s return, the railway operator unveils the "Ahlan Family" formula. This offer allows Moroccans residing abroad to benefit from a 30% discount on their journeys, combined with complete free travel for children. The scheme strategically targets the country’s main entry points: departures run directly from Mohammed V airport, Marrakech and Tangier to all network stations. To absorb these massive arrivals, 36 express shuttles will connect the Casablanca airport daily, with one departure per hour between 6am and 11pm.

This commercial offensive relies on comprehensive logistics machinery aimed at guaranteeing "travel under the best conditions of comfort, fluidity, safety and accessibility," the company states in its press release. In total, 237 trains will run daily, including 30 Al Boraq high-speed trains and 70 regular Al Atlas connections. The focus is deliberately placed on the most sought-after routes, with increased capacity on the overnight Tangier-Oujda line and the addition of specific services between Safi and Benguerir.

ONCF is betting heavily on digital solutions to avoid congestion at ticket counters and urges summer travelers to book their tickets online in advance. Beyond benefits dedicated to MREs, connected travelers can find one of 250,000 promotional tickets priced at 49 dirhams or subscribe to a dematerialized summer pass. Behind the scenes, technical teams will remain on standby without interruption, day and night, to ensure traffic regularity throughout the season.
