Olympic Soccer: Morocco-Spain Semi-Final Sells Out in Hours at Marseille’s Vélodrome

There are no more tickets for the first semi-final match of the Paris 2024 Olympic football tournament between Morocco and Spain. The Vélodrome stadium in Marseille is full.
The match between Morocco and Spain scheduled for Monday, August 5 at 6 pm (French time) at the Vélodrome is generating unprecedented enthusiasm from Moroccan and Spanish supporters. The ticketing was stormed. All the tickets were sold, just a few hours after they were put on sale on Friday, notes the site Rue24.
While Spanish supporters were the first to start buying tickets for the semi-final, Moroccans were waiting for the official confirmation of the qualification of the Atlas Lions to buy the tickets at the Vélodrome stadium in the city of Marseille, in southern France. Unable to obtain tickets on the official Olympic Games website, many Moroccan supporters are turning to the black market where prices could rise dramatically as happened for the Paris match. The Marseille stadium will be full on Monday.
