Olympic Champ El Bakkali Takes Second in Diamond League 3000m Steeplechase Final

Olympic champion Soufiane El Bakkali will have to wait to confirm his supremacy in the 3,000m steeplechase. In the Diamond League final in Zurich, he finished in second place.
Soufiane El Bakkali was unable to beat Kenyan Benjamin Kigen in the Diamond League final. He finished second in Zurich with (8:17.70) behind the Kenyan, who clocked (8:17.45).
As for Mohamed Tindouft, he finished in last place (8:25.33). Benjamin Kigen, the bronze medalist at the Tokyo Games, therefore wins the Diamond League for the first time in his career.
