Soufiane El Bakkali, the only Moroccan medalist at the Tokyo Olympics, says his career is not going to stop there. He is already eyeing other titles.
"My career and my performances are not going to stop there. I aspire to win other titles, especially at the next World Championships and the 2024 Paris Olympics," the Moroccan Olympic champion told the press, assuring that the gold medal in the 3,000m steeplechase won at the Tokyo Olympics is a starting point for better performances.

On this occasion, the athlete dedicated his medal to King Mohammed VI: "I dedicate this medal to King Mohammed VI and to all those who encouraged me, especially my coach and my family and to the entire Moroccan people."
