Offshoring Industry Faces Sharp Decline as COVID-19 Disrupts Global Operations

The covid-19 crisis has spared no sector. Offshoring is suffering the consequences of the spread of the pandemic. A drop in turnover is announced for April 2020.

Intelcia’s turnover decreased by around 15% in March and should decline by 30 to 40% in April, said Karim Bernoussi, Chairman and CEO of the Intelcia group, one of the players in the outsourcing market in Morocco, reports the Map. To do this, the company will develop its multilingual capacity and diversify its business expertise.
The new Intelcia It Solutions division is used by more than 300 organizations to address IT management and application development needs. This, through two digital document management solutions. The offshoring sector, which accounts for 3% of the kingdom’s GDP, is considered one of Morocco’s flagship global professions. It is implementing means to counter covid-19, in order to regain its best performance.
