OCP Group CEO Mostafa Terrab Named Morocco’s ’Man of the Year’ by Maroc Hebdo

The French-language weekly Maroc Hebdo has revealed the identity of the Man of the Year 2019. His name: Mostafa Terrab, Chairman and CEO of the OCP group.
By choosing Mostafa Terrab, Chairman and CEO of the OCP group, Maroc Hebdo wanted to celebrate the leader of one of the most thriving public institutions in the kingdom, a "behind-the-scenes man who rarely opens up to the media".
The "positive" and "very satisfactory" record of the OCP CEO has pleaded in his favor. According to the weekly, the public institution owes its positioning at the national, regional and even international level to the "long-term work started in February 2006, when King Mohammed VI decided to entrust Terrab with the management of the phosphate giant".
With his know-how and managerial spirit, this executive trained in France and the United States, supported by young people he has empowered, has developed "the Global Industrial Transformation Strategy which today allows the OCP group to produce 12 million tons of phosphate per year". Moreover, the prospects are good for the company. Thanks to a 100 billion dirham program invested over ten years, the group could, by 2028, secure half of the world phosphate market.
