Netflix Unveils "World Cup Captains" Series Featuring Messi, Saïss, and Football Stars

The captain of the Atlas Lions, Romain Saïss, the Argentine Lionel Messi, the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the Englishman Harry Kane, the Frenchman Kylian Mbappé or the Brazilian Neymar are the headliners of a documentary series produced by Netflix.
"World Cup Captains". This is the title of the new documentary series that Netflix is preparing to release on December 30. It retraces the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with exclusive images and access. The American streaming giant will bring football lovers back to life the competition, including the historic journey of Morocco, which became the first African country to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup.
The captain of the Atlas Lions, Romain Saïss, will be the headliner of this series along with the Argentine Lionel Messi, the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the Englishman Harry Kane, the Frenchman Kylian Mbappé or the Brazilian Neymar. "The footage of Saiss, who was doubtful for the match against France after his stretcher exit against Portugal, should be the most captivating story," writes the British daily The Telegraph.
