Netflix’s "The Old Guard" Showcases Morocco’s Diverse Landscapes in Action-Packed Scenes

"The Old Guard", a film exclusively distributed on Netflix, was partially shot in several regions of Morocco, including Marrakech.
Several sequences of the film and scenes representing Africa or Afghanistan were shot in the city of Marrakech and in other regions of Morocco.
In Marrakech, scenes were shot at the Ryad El Fenn, the Berber village of Obaki, on the Kik Plateau (a region of the Atlas Mountains), as well as at Jemaa El-Fna Square, Tamansourt, Harbil, Tayzelt, the Agafay desert, Boukhriss and Kettara.
The film "The Old Guard", directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood ("Love and Basketball" and "Beyond the Lights"), is an adaptation of a comic book series by Greg Rucka.
It is exclusively distributed on Netflix, the global leader in streaming entertainment, with 183 million paying users in more than 190 countries.
