Netflix’s "La Línea" Exposes Real-Life Drug Trafficking Between Morocco and Spain

Netflix has released on September 9 its new documentary mini-series titled "La Línea", which is an immersion into the world of drug traffickers. The production team followed the Spanish police and the Guardia Civil elements in their daily hunt for drug traffickers and smugglers from Morocco and other African countries.
This documentary mini-series consists of four episodes. Unlike the universe of films which are only fiction, here everything is real. The testimonies of the authorities involved in this relentless fight against drug trafficking and other narcotics show the extent of the damage.
La Línea de la Concepción is a Spanish municipality located in the province of Cádiz, in southern Spain. According to TelQuel, the inhabitants think that the government is not concerned about their fate and behaves as if this part of Spain does not exist.
The unemployment rate is 30% and the level in terms of education is very low and worrying. Neglected by the central government, drug traffickers rule there and are perceived by part of the population as being untouchable, specifies the same source.
