Criminal Gangs Target Moroccan Travelers on Spanish Roads, Sparking Safety Concerns

Organized criminal groups are attacking members of the Moroccan community on several Spanish roads. These gangs are exploiting the isolation of certain service stations to commit their misdeeds.
The areas concerned are mainly located on the Costa del Sol, particularly in Málaga, Marbella, Fuengirola and Estepona. The offenders have chosen these deserted service stations as strategic points for their operations. They lie in wait for their victims before stripping them of their belongings, according to Al Ahdath al Maghribia.
This situation has provoked reactions within the Moroccan community. Several members have expressed their concern about their safety during their travels, particularly during their journeys on these road networks.
Some MREs have called for strengthened security measures, also wishing that the Moroccan authorities coordinate their efforts with their Spanish counterparts, in order to take firm action against these criminal groups.
