Nawell Madani makes peace with the child she had hit on the Champs-Élysées

A photo published on Thursday, October 30th on her Instagram account shows that Nawell Madani has reconciled with the minor. In the picture, we see the 6-year-old child and other people taking a selfie with the Belgian star. "There are encounters born of a misunderstanding that, over time, make us grow. Between fear and misinterpretations, words were missing. We chose clarity, gentleness and the soothing of a meeting with Djulian and his family, so that sincerity and apologies could finally be expressed with accuracy, far from any confusion," Madani wrote in the message accompanying the photo. And she concluded: "I discovered a worthy family, intelligent, sensitive and big-hearted children. Sometimes life shakes us to remind us of what really matters."

The case had sparked a lively controversy and the possibility of legal proceedings had been mentioned. But following the summons of Madani, an amicable settlement was preferred. "This case did not deserve a trial. The public prosecutor’s office shares this analysis since Mrs. Madani is summoned for an alternative measure that will allow a proportional reparation to the facts," said Me Caroline Toby, Madani’s lawyer. The comedian "is deeply affected by what happened and wants to express all her sadness towards the child and his family," she had added.
