National Strike Disrupts Brussels Airport: Over 200 Flights Canceled, Including Morocco Routes

Due to a national demonstration organized by the unions this Friday, more than half of the flights departing from Brussels Airport have been canceled. Flights to Morocco are affected.
Fearing disruptions following the demonstration, the airport called on airlines to cancel flights to avoid chaos, reports Belga, specifying that more than 200 of the 400 flights initially scheduled for Friday have already been canceled at Brussels Airport.
Passengers concerned by Friday’s flights have been warned and the airport recommends that they limit their luggage, as disruptions could also affect public transport.
"Currently, more than 50% of the scheduled flights have been canceled. Other flights could be added," said the airport spokesperson.
