Al-Nassr Pursues Moroccan Star Soufiane Rahimi in High-Stakes Transfer Bid

Soufiane Rahimi is on Al-Nassr’s radar. The Saudi club is said to have initiated negotiations with the Emirati club Al-Ain to recruit the Moroccan striker before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to Hesport, Al-Nassr is determined to acquire Soufiane Rahimi, who has attracted the interest of several clubs after his remarkable performances at the Paris Olympics. The Saudi club is said to have initiated negotiations with Al-Ain, the Asian champion, to sign the Atlas Lion, top scorer of the Olympic tournament with eight goals, before the end of the summer transfer window.
Al-Nassr is ready to make a substantial offer to Al-Ain to secure Rahimi’s services this summer. But the Emirati club is waiting for a firm offer from the Saudi club before deciding whether or not to let the young player go. Al-Nassr wants to quickly recruit the Moroccan international to strengthen its attack, especially after its defeat against Al-Hilal on Saturday in the final of the Saudi Super Cup with a score of 1 goal to 4.
Rahimi is the top scorer of the Olympic football tournament in Paris with 8 goals, thus equaling the record of Argentine Carlos Tevez, who had scored 8 goals at the 2004 Olympics, as well as that of Egyptian Moustapha Reyadh, the Arab player who scored the most goals in an Olympic football tournament in 1964.
