While the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has arranged to part ways with French coach Hervé Renard, the former coach of the Atlas Lions, it has instead decided to keep Mustapha Hadji, who was one of Renard’s close collaborators and had acknowledged his share of responsibility in the national team’s debacle at the 2019 CAN in Egypt.
Hervé Renard’s resignation is confirmed by Fouzi Lekjaâ, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). However, the departure of the French technician could well give rise to disclosures about the toxic atmosphere that prevailed within the "Atlas Lions".
