Muslim Voters in Ceuta Thwart Far-Right Vox Party’s Electoral Hopes

The Muslim participation that made Pedro Sánchez (left) triumph in Ceuta does not seem to please the leaders of the far right. Indeed, for Carlos Verdejo and Rafael Valero of Vox Ceuta, the socialist victory in Ceuta is a victory against "the Spain of Ceuta".
An "anti-Spanish" vote. This is what Vox Ceuta thinks of the 13,766 (36.33%) votes that José Simón represents for Ceuta in the Congress of Deputies. This percentage obtained by the Socialists due to the "Moroccan vote" is perceived as "anti-patriotism", reports the news site El faro de Ceuta.
Carlos Verdejo, number 2 of Vox Ceuta who could not obtain a good score, nevertheless acknowledged that "the results are not bad at the national level". According to El faro de Ceuta, "the problem for Verdejo in these legislative elections is the result obtained in Ceuta."
Much more moderate, Rodriguez Valero rather congratulated the Socialists "for the triumph", without however failing to recognize "the surprise of the Popular Party". For him, in reality, the victory of the Socialists (PSOE) in these elections was made possible thanks to the "Moroccan vote", reports El faro de Ceuta.
These results give the favorite, to ensure the presidency of the city, Juan Redondo who is none other than the number 1 on the lists for the autonomous systems of Vox Ceuta.
