Morocco has published its updated list of persons and entities classified as terrorists, updated on April 7 and published in the Official Bulletin of May 5, 2022. A list established by the National Committee responsible for the implementation of UN Security Council sanctions related to terrorism and the proliferation of weapons and their financing.

The former President of the Spanish Government, José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, welcomed the decision of the government of Pedro Sanchez to support the autonomy plan for the Sahara proposed by Morocco, assuring that it is in no way a "change" or a historical "turnaround".
A Spanish journalist believes that Morocco is politically closer to Russia than to the EU and Spain. This is evidenced by his absence from the UN General Assembly that condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine .
Russian President Vladimir Putin has thanked Morocco for the position it has taken since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
