Mosque Attack in Grenoble: Man Assaults Worshiper During Ramadan, Police Investigate

The Grenoble police services are conducting an investigation to find a man who assaulted a worshiper and threatened others in a mosque in Échirolles (department of Isère).
The events took place on Thursday, March 30 in the mosque located on rue du 19 mars 1962 in Échirolles. After the opening of the place of worship around 5am, a man entered. According to the first elements gathered by the law enforcement authorities, he approached the worshipers and declared "to know Le Pen", before hitting one of them in the face, reports Actu.fr.
Two witnesses to the scene quickly intervened to subdue the alleged aggressor. He pulled out a knife, without using it. Before the arrival of the police on the scene, the man fled on foot. Currently, the Grenoble police services are conducting an investigation to find him.
