Morocco’s Ziyech Rejects National Team Return Under Halilhodzic

Hakim Ziyech would have definitively turned his back on the national team as long as Vahid Halilhodzic is in place. The Chelsea midfielder seems to be sticking to his position and would refuse any mediation.
While the Franco-Bosnian coach has managed to reconcile with Noussair Mazraoui and Amine Harit, things seem more complicated with Hakim Ziyech, who would not want to meet him and therefore would still refuse to join the Lions as long as the latter is at the helm.
The Chelsea player would have declined all mediation offers, whether from his close circle or from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, to agree to return to the national team.
As the national coach is about to unveil his list of players called up for the June international matches, Ziyech was seen on Instagram on board a private jet in the company of his friend Zakaria Labyad. The two men would have headed to the United States to spend a few vacation days. The divorce seems to be definitively consummated.
