Morocco’s Zineb Redouani Recovers from WAFCON Final Injury, Leaves Hospital
Injured during the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup final played on July 23, Zineb Redouani was worrying about her health condition. She is now reassuring.
In the 55th minute of the match, the left-back was carried off on a stretcher, immediately evacuated to the nearest hospital after her spectacular collision with goalkeeper Khadija Rmichi.
On Monday, she gave news of herself via her Instagram account, announcing that she is doing well and leaving the hospital. A reassuring message for thousands of supporters. In another post, she thanked the Moroccan public for their support during this difficult period.
To recall, the Moroccan women’s national team lost the final against South Africa (1-2).
