Morocco Announces Squad for 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations

The coach of the Moroccan women’s football team, Reynald Pedros, has published the list of players who will participate in the final phase of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will be played in Morocco from July 02 to 23.
Ranked in Group A, the national team will play its matches at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat. It will be against Burkina Faso this Saturday, Uganda (July 5) and Senegal (July 8).
The Moroccan selection is composed of Khadija Er-rmichi, Hind Hasnaoui, Zouhir Assia, Imane Abdelahad, Fatima Tagnaout, Ghizlane Chebak, Ghizlane Chahir, Hanane Aït El Haj, Ibtissam Jraidi, Aziza Rebah, Elodie Nakkach, Fatima Zahra Dahmouch, Chaimae Mourtaji, Nisrine El Chad, Rosella Ayane, Sabah Sghir, Salma Amani, Najat Badri, Eva Aluce, Samia Hassani, Sanae Mesoudi, Siham Boukhami, Sofia Bouftini, Yasmine Mrabet, Zineb Redouani, Imane Saoud
In Group B, we find Cameroon, Zambia, Tunisia and Togo, while Group C includes Nigeria, South Africa, Burundi and Botswana. The Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex and the SAR Prince Heir Moualy El Hassan sports complex in Rabat, as well as the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca, have been selected to host the matches of this competition.
