According to testimonies collected by Bladi.net, several families living in Europe who were planning to spend a few vacation days in Morocco in October have decided to wait for the situation to improve. "We were supposed to come to Casablanca in mid-October, but we preferred to postpone," says a couple residing in Belgium.

Similar decisions have been made by other MREs, who mainly cite an uncertain climate. The majority say they do not fear for their safety, but believe that the current context "does not really lend itself to a relaxing stay."

On the side of travel agencies, there is no question of massive cancellations, but several professionals confirm that clients are asking more questions about the situation and that postponements are being recorded.

The All Saints’ Day period and the month of October are usually marked by a significant return of MREs to Morocco, particularly from Europe. This year, some prefer to wait before finalizing their reservations.
