Morocco’s World Cup Star Anass Zaroury Urges Fans to Respect His Privacy Amid False Reports

Just like the captain of the Moroccan team, Romain Saïss, Moroccan international Anass Zaroury addressed a message to the supporters of the Atlas Lions asking them to stay away from his private life.
After the historic and exceptional run of the Moroccan team at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Atlas Lions like Romain Saïss and Anass Zaroury have been the target of false information on social media and in the international press. In a message posted on his Instagram, the Burnley winger calls on supporters to respect his privacy, to separate the professional aspect from the personal and family aspect.
"A rich year in events and emotions has just ended and it is time for me to thank you for your unwavering support, both with my club and with the Moroccan national team. We have shared fabulous moments together, which will remain unforgettable and together we will continue to move forward towards the beautiful challenges that await us. I will be happy to live and share this fervor and passion with you, which is also the beauty of this profession," writes the 22-year-old player.
And he adds: "However, I attach great importance to ensuring that the personal and family aspect of my life is respected (indeed, false accounts, false rumors have multiplied, this has nothing to do with my status as a professional footballer and I want to make a clear separation)." Concluding his message, he wished "an excellent year 2023, full of joy and happiness for you and your loved ones" to everyone.
