Morocco wants to better welcome tourists

The Regional Tourism Council (CRT), the Regional Association of the Hotel Industry (ARIH) and the Wilaya have designed this immersive training for hotel and catering staff. The program is structured around key modules covering reception in a sports context, delegation management, security and alert procedures, as well as HACCP hygiene standards and housekeeping.

The first training phase, which took place from December 4 to 10, allowed the discussion of specific topics such as the handling of sensitive requests and practical role-playing. A second session is scheduled for December 11 in order to expand the system and consolidate the skills of all the establishments in the region.

For Mehdi Hameda Benchekroun, president of the CRT, interviewed by Hespress, this initiative aims to offer visitors an experience worthy of the historical importance of the 2025 CAN for the country. For his part, Jabir Bendaoud, president of the ARIH Rabat, confirmed the total mobilization of professionals, stating that strengthening the skills of teams is essential to demonstrate the capital’s ability to excel during the biggest international events.
