Morocco’s Vahid Halilhodzic Tops List of Highest-Paid African National Team Coaches

Vahid Halilhodzic, coach of the Moroccan national football team, is now the best paid coach. In the top 10 of these coaches, only Jamal Belmadi of Algeria is African.
In this ranking made by Ghanaian journalist Nuhu Adams, published on Twitter, the Franco-Bosnian coach of the Moroccan national team, 69 years old, is at the top of the list with an estimated monthly salary of $89,000.
The Top 10 best paid national team coaches is as follows:
• 1st Vahid Halilhodžić (Bosnia-Morocco) $89,000
• 2nd Carlos Queiroz (Portugal-Egypt) $85,000
• 3rd Djamel Belmadi (Algeria) $65,000
• 4th Antonio Conceiçao (Portugal-Cameroon) $59,000
• 5th Javier Clemente (Spain-Libya) $59,000
• 6th Hector Cuper (Argentina-DR Congo) $55,000
• 7th Gernot Rohr (Germany-Nigeria) $55,000
• 8th Hugo Broos (Belgium-South Africa) $50,000
• 9th Patrice Beaumelle (France-Ivory Coast) $35,000
• 10th Milovan Rajevac (Serbia-Ghana) $30,000
According to the survey, these amounts constitute the gross monthly salary received by each coach, as each federation grants bonuses based on objectives.
