Morocco Urges Vaccination and Strict COVID Measures as Omicron Spreads Globally

Moroccans have been called, once again, to strictly comply with barrier measures and to get vaccinated, to avoid jeopardizing the management of Covid-19 in the kingdom.
This is a new call made by the Minister of Health, who reports a relaxation of preventive measures on the part of a large number of citizens, as well as an increase in the epidemiological curve over the past two weeks.
This trend is proof that "the virus is still among us [...] especially after the appearance and spread of the Omicron variant in many countries," he stressed.
To this end, the department has warned against the risk of laxity in compliance with barrier gestures, considering it necessary to be vigilant to prevent any epidemiological deterioration.
