Morocco Urged to Block Ship Carrying Arms to Israel Amid Gaza Conflict

The Moroccan Front for Support to Palestine and Against Normalization with the Hebrew State maintains a constant vigil. It calls on Moroccan government leader Aziz Akhannouch to prevent the passage of arms shipments destined for Israel.
The Moroccan Front for Support to Palestine and Against Normalization with the Hebrew State is on alert. It has learned that a cargo ship named "VERTOM ODETTE" belonging to a Japanese company and sailing under the Luxembourg flag, which set sail from India on April 18, is transporting arms and ammunition cargoes destined for Israeli ports.
Knowing that the ship will pass through the Strait of Gibraltar to reach the Mediterranean Sea, the Front has asked the Moroccan government to refuse its passage through Moroccan waters and to take the necessary measures to prevent its arrival at its destination. It calls on the Moroccan authorities to make the right decision and to subject the ship to an inspection to verify its cargo. In case of refusal, the forum asks them to prevent its entry into Moroccan waters.
Meanwhile, the Spanish government has prevented the ship "MARIANNE DANICA" from docking at the port of Cartagena because it was carrying 26.8 tons of explosives.
