A delegation from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is currently in Liberia to assess the installation of artificial turf. It has visited the Willis Knuckles Sports Stadium, Blue Field and ATS stadiums. According to sources, it is planned that the Moroccan artificial turf will initially be installed at the Willis Knuckles stadium, but the project could be transferred to the ATS stadium due to the quantity and quality of the infrastructure, reports Liberian Observer. The new turf should be installed during next year.
A few months earlier, the Liberia Football Association (LFA) and the FRMF concluded in Morocco a technical cooperation agreement on the sidelines of a FIFA-sponsored seminar on football development. It includes training camp opportunities, refereeing, club development and equipment support.
