Morocco Unveils Special Travel Plan for World Cup Fans Heading to Qatar

A few weeks before the kick-off of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Moroccan authorities have put in place a special system to ensure that the trip of supporters to Qatar goes smoothly.
The partnership agreement was signed this Thursday in Rabat by Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of Education, Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the FRMF and Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc (RAM). This is a mechanism put in place with a flight plan to Doha from November 20 to December 04 (group stage) and tickets offered at a fixed price of 5,000 DH including tax (round trip).
"In addition to its regular daily and direct flights between Casablanca and Doha, RAM will inject several additional direct flights during this period, with a total capacity of 3,000 seats at the subsidized fixed price of 5,000 DH including tax (round trip) in economy class".
Only supporters who have been able to obtain match tickets are concerned by these travel facilities to Qatar. The CEO of RAM also stressed that the company has a special offer that will allow Moroccan supporters who wish to attend the first three matches of the Moroccan national football team. For his part, Fouzi Lekjaa called on Moroccans to travel massively to support the national team.
