Morocco Unveils Advanced Aerospace and Automotive Parts Factory in Kenitra

The Moroccan company Spécial Acier et Traitements Thermiques (SATT) has just installed a new company equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in Kenitra. This high-tech plant has been designed to manage the heat treatment of aeronautical, automotive and mechanical parts.

Installed on an area of 2,200 m², this new factory is located in the industrial acceleration zone of Kenitra. Its implementation cost the SATT company 21 million dirhams. Present at the inauguration of this factory, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, indicated that "this project, supported by the supervisory department within the framework of the assembly ecosystem, is a pioneering project".

This new activity "brings a strong and essential link in the production and maintenance of parts in the flagship sectors of the Moroccan industry and contributes to the development of the aero-engine sector that the Kingdom aims to boost," he said, adding that the installation of this company will greatly contribute to the development of expertise within the local industrial fabric.

SATT does not intend to stop there. In addition to taking into account the new requirements of the aeronautical and automotive companies established in Morocco in its productions, the company plans to acquire new furnaces to increase its treatment and production capacity.
