Morocco Unveils 2020 Tourism Roadmap: Safety and Diverse Experiences at Forefront

To make Morocco a safe destination, while offering a diversity of experiences to share. This is the vision expressed by the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT), Saturday in Marrakech, during the presentation of its 2020 roadmap.
Moroccan tourism now has a new roadmap for 2020. Its objective is to make Morocco a safe destination by offering a diversity of experiences to share. A communication was given on the new vision, last Saturday, in Marrakech, by the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT), reports l’Économiste.
"This tool, developed by the private sector, aims to promote the participatory development of the tourism industry and strengthen its competitiveness. Thus, various actions are planned for this year," says the CNT’s general vice-president, Fouzi Zemrani.
The main planned actions are essentially focused on Public/Private Partnership (PPP), the creation of a "Tourism Academy", the digital shift, the development of human capital, the strengthening of the competitiveness of tourism players, and the regulation of the domestic tourism sector.
In addition, other major projects, including support for SMEs, the reorganization of the Tourism Observatory and the improvement of the observation and analysis system, are included in the 2020 roadmap.
The implementation of the "Webinar", that is to say "an online class that connected people can participate in without geographical constraints, as well as a Master Class led by an expert on a particular theme", is the other major project that the CNT also plans to develop.
