Morocco U20 Edges Algeria in Tight UNAF Tournament Match

The Moroccan national under-20 team won on December 1st against its Algerian counterpart at the Kram municipal stadium in Tunis. This match is part of the last game of the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament, won by Tunisia.
The Atlas Cubs managed to defeat the Algerian Fennecs juniors in a very tight match. The opening goal came in the 2nd minute of play, thanks to a nice action by Lionceau Mehdi Mbarek. The Algerians finally found the net again in the 64th minute with a goal scored by Marouan Marzouki.
The national junior selection regained the lead in the 75th minute thanks to Yassine Tamoudi. This victory of the Cubs is the first in this match after two draws against Tunisia and Burkina Faso and a defeat against Egypt.
Tunisia faced Egypt, which it dominated 3-1. Thanks to this advantage, it emerges victorious from this tournament.
Morocco, for its part, takes 4th place with 5 points behind Egypt and Algeria. Burkina Faso brings up the rear with only two points.
