Morocco Terror Cell Leader Demands Execution for Scandinavian Tourist Murders

Abdessamad El Joud, the main accused in the Imlil terrorist attack, has requested the execution of the death sentence handed down against him at first instance. Certain that his sentence would remain unchanged, as was indeed the case, the defendant in the heinous crime against the two Scandinavian tourists revealed his affiliation with Takfirism.
"I ask that 10 riyals (50 cents) be spent on my execution," El Joud wished at the bar when the judge asked him to express his last wish.
By "the 10 riyals", the accused was referring to the price of a rifle bullet, reports article19, which recalls that before his request, the defendant had fallen into Takfirism, a sub-branch of Salafism, a rigorous practice of the Muslim religion, close to its first believers.
As for the other direct accomplices of this bloody murder of the two Scandinavian tourists, Younes Ouziad, Rachid Afatti and Abderrahim Khayali, they also pronounced "Takfirist" Koranic verses against the Moroccan state and its judicial institutions.
"We renounce any connection with you..." Ouziad said, addressing the court. According to the same source, this expression is often used by radical Islamists in their "Takfirist" approach to society.
