Morocco’s Tarik Sektioui to Lead Under-18 Team, Eyes 2028 Olympics

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has decided to renew its trust in Tarik Sektiou, who has succeeded in leading the Olympic team to the semi-finals of the football tournament at the Paris Olympic Games.
Tarik Sektioui should take over the under-18 team, replacing Saïd Chiba, who has joined Fath Union Sport of Rabat, revealed an official of the Moroccan federation, specifying that this change aims to prepare the youth team for the 2028 Olympic Games in the United States.
The official stated that the federation has decided to entrust this mission to Sektioui, who achieved the historic feat of leading the Atlas Lions to the semi-finals of the Olympic tournament in Paris before losing to Spain (1-2) before winning the bronze medal on Thursday against the Egyptian team by 6 goals to 0 at the La Beaujolire stadium in Nice.
