Morocco Stuns Chile 2-0 in World Cup Warm-Up Match in Barcelona

The Moroccan national football team won on Friday evening against Chile in the friendly match that serves as a preparation for the 2022 World Cup. The match took place at the Cornellà-El Prat Stadium in Cornellà de Llobregat in Barcelona in front of many Moroccan supporters.
2 goals to 0 and a very good game from the Atlas Lions. A successful baptism of fire for the new coach Walid Regragui. The first goal was scored by Sofiane Boufal, one of the five Moroccan players that FIFA invites to watch closely. He opened the scoring in the 65th minute by penalty.
The second goal was scored by Abdelhamid Sabiri, who in the 78th minute surprised Chilean goalkeeper Brayan Cortés by sending the ball into the back of the net. It must be said that the first half was difficult for the Atlas Lions, who had trouble breaking through the Chilean defense wall. But in the second half, determined to forget the defeat recorded in the United States, they were more ambitious and more offensive.
The Atlas Lions’ next friendly match is scheduled for next Sunday in Seville. It will be against Paraguay.
